She has an expertise in the organic synthesis of heterocyclic compounds (tetramic and tetronic acids, quinolinones and coumarins) and her research work has resulted in more than 70 publications in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, QSAR and related fields.

    George Kollias, PhD

Dr. George Kollias received his B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Athens, Greece and his Ph.D in Molecular Biology at the National Hellenic Research Foundation. He has post-doctoral experience in the field of gene structure and expression (Laboratory of Gene Structure and Expression, National Institute for Medical Research, UK). He established the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute in Athens, Greece, and in 2000 he was appointed Director of the Institute for Immunology at the BSRC ‘Al. Fleming’. In 2002 he was appointed the Center’s President and Director. Dr Kollias is a founding member of Biomedcode Hellas SA, where he also serves as President. He has published over 120 primary research articles in peer-reviewed journals and his work has received over 8500 citations. Recently, Dr Kollias was appointed coordinator of a consortium of 24 European organizations constituting MUGEN Network of Excellence on 'Functional Genomics in mutant mouse models as tools to investigate the complexity of human immunological disease".

    Haralambos Sarimveis, PhD

Dr. Haralambos Sarimveis received a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from NTUA in 1990 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, in 1992 and 1995 respectively.
